It's been a very long time coming, but I'm so pleased to announce that I'm an indie pattern designer! Yesterday, I published my first hand embroidery pattern collection on
Craftsy:
Just Beachy. Hooray!!!
This pattern collection was first conceived while sketching designs into my journal whilst laying on the beach in California last September. They're whimsical, cheerful, and punny (couldn't resist!).
The process of creating these patterns has been long, and at times, really, really hard. But, combining my love of drawing and crafts into one endeavor is a dream come true!
Details:
The Just Beachy Collection includes four patterns, only $6 each. The patterns are great for a range of skills, but especially those just learning to embroider. Each pattern includes full-color instructions, an embroidery stitch guide, alternative color scheme suggestions, and a black and white tracing pattern. The patterns are available for purchase and instant PDF download on
Craftsy.
I could see these as hoop art for a modern nursery, playroom, or beach house, and on pillows for a fun update to your living room or bedroom, or on towels in a beach themed bathroom. They also make great baby shower or wedding gifts.

I'm so grateful for all I've learned about the modern crafting community through this experience. I'm so excited for all that I'll continue to learn as I produce more pattern designs in the future!
